Day 2 Taoyuan -Jiufen (Jinshan Old Street)-Yehliu -Nanfangao-Nantian Temple- Hualien (B/D)
Jiufen:during the period of Japanese colonization, all the gold mined from here was sent to Japan. It is said that Jiufen was prosperous because of a gold rush but then faded with the decline of gold mining activities.After the beginning shooting of the movie “ A City of Sadness”, Jiufen became a hotspot for tourists. Yehliu Scenic Area:Yehliu is a cape protruding above sea level, the spectacular, internationally-known landscape, such as Queen’s Head Rock, bean curd rocks, and sea-eroded caves, were formed by wave erosion, weathering and crustal movement. Suhua Scenic Road:it’s with beautiful coastal scenery. The “Qingshui Cliffs” is the most thrilling sight on the Su Hua Scenic Road because its serpentine windings. (*Chiufen will be replaced by Jinshan Old Street on weekends and Public Holdiays, Jinshan Old Street is the only preserved ancient street of Qing dynasty in the North Coast of Taiwan.)
Day 3 Taroko Gorge-Linzhi& Tea Center- ReiSuei Ranch-East Rift Valley- Chihpen Hot Spring (B/L/D)
Taroko Gorge:one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world, featuring scenic sights like Taroko Memorial Arch Building andChangchun Temple. The gorge was formed by rushing river. Rei Suei Ranch: due to its plentiful grass, clear water, and fresh air, the milk it produces is especially high-quality. Chihpen: famous for its Hot Spring. The water of Chipen Hot Springs are odorless alkaline bicarbonate spring water can increase blood circulation, relaxes the muscles, and against skin disease, arthritis, and neuralgia.
Day 4 FoGuang Shan-Meinong-Spring and Autumn Pavilion-Dream Mall-Leo Ho Night Market (B/L)
FoGuang Shan Monastery:the largest Buddhist monastery in Taiwan and an internationally recognized site of pilgrimag. MeinongHakka Village:Meinong is the hometown of paper umbrella of which is the symbol of a circle and represents a meaning that all family members are getting together. Spring And Autumn Pavilions: Where you will be amused by gigantic statues of Dragon and Tiger Pagodas, Hsuan Tien Shang ti Temple. Kaohsiung Dream Mall:-the largest shopping mall in Taiwan. Leo Ho Night Market:the snacks there is well- known by its widely variation and low cost.
Day 5 Kaohsiung- Mt. Ali National Scenic Area-AlisanForest Railway-AlishanSunrise View (B/L/D)
Alishan:Alishan's beauty is natural with living creatures. The sunrise view, brilliant sunshine, sunset, the cloud ocean are four precious view of Alishan. The clouds are so dense and thick that the mountaintops appear like islands on the cloud ocean. In addition, the Alishan Forest Railway is also very famous because it is one of the three mountain rails in the world.
Day 6 Alishan-Tea Picking-Sun Moon Lake-Peacock Garden-PuliBrewery-FengJia Night Market (B/L)
Sun Moon Lake:the lake spans 33km and cover 793 hectares. It is divided into two sections by LaluIsland. The Eastern part of the lake is round like the sun, while the Western part is shaped like a sun; hence the name SunMoonLake. Wen Wu Temple:dedicated to Confucius and Guandi FengJia Night Market:the most famous night market in Taichung where you can buy low-cost and chic stuffs.
DAY 7 Yingge-Danshui - Pixiou Center-C.K.S Memorial Hall-Martyr’s Shrine-Shihlin Night Market (B)
Yingge: the largest center for ceramic production in Taiwan. Yingge Pottery Street & Yingge Ceramics Museum: exhibiting ceramic culture in Taiwan.Danshui Old Street and water front: famous pedestrian shopping area. Fisherman’s Wharf:is located of the right mouth of Danshui River, it has also become a popular filming location for TV.C.K.S Memorial Hall:used to be a monument built in memory of former president Chiang Kai-Shek. Martyr’s Shrine:holds an elaborate ceremony of changing guards hourly.Shilin Night Market:full of local Taiwanese cuisine and snacks, such as pan-fried dumplings, frogs-laying-eggs, plus-size chicken cutlets and Shiling sausages, etc.
