Day 1 Arrival in Belitung / Kaolin / Tanjung Tinggi (L/D)
Upon arrival, meet and greet by local guide. Proceed for the famous local noodles -Mie Belitung for lunch. Check in hotel and change into your swimming gears and we already to start exploring the island. First stop to Tanjung Tinggi with free time for kayaking or surfing. Beautiful boulders filled this area of the beach and even the locals love to come by here and catch the sunset in the evening. Dinner at local restaurant. Optional massage can be arranged at own cost (driver can send you to the local massage centre).
Day 2-island hopping with time for snorkelling (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Set off for Pulau Lengkuas and visit the lighthouse, a beautiful overview of the island awaits you. If you wish, you have enjoy a swim around here. Snorkelling at the nearby area before proceeding for seafood lunch at Pulau Kepayang. After lunch, off to the smallest island call Pulau Pasir also know as Sand island. You will be able to see starfish around the island. (Please do not touch or hold them as starfish are delicate and cannot survive out of water for too long. Please protect the nature beauties of nature). Next off to Pulau Batu Belayar also known as the Sailing rock island. This is island filled with huge granite rocks and the rocks arranged is such a way it look like ship that is sailing. . Not too far off you will see Pulau Batu Garuda, another great place for snorkelling. The rocks nestled on the island resembles a stone eagle. This evening enjoy dinner at Ruma Makan Timpo Duluk.
Day 3 Museum Kata Andrea / Open pit Kampit (B/L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, we set off to the other side of the island towards Gantung. Enroute if time allows, ask the driver for a quick stop at the Tahu Sumedang Mantap shop, for a quick fix of local snacks of fried banana / yam / sweet potato fritters and the yummy tauhu (at own expense). Next stop to the colorful and vibrant Museum Kata Andrea, Indonesia first literature museum since 2010. This was set up by the author Andrea Hirata of the novel Laskar Pelangi to inspire people to achieve their dreams. Nasi Padang lunch at local restaurant, before setting off to open-pit Kampit. A short visit to Vihara Dewi Kwan (a local chinese temple) cna be arranged if travellers is keen. Open-pit Kampit was the site of a tin mine and gained it's fame for its scenic surrounding and terrain. Start with a short hike up and explore the cave at the bottom of the pit with the local guide. *Optional activities such as abseiling, kayaking and hike inside the cave tunnel can be arranged at extra cost and must be pre-booked in advance as subject to guide availability. Dinner at local restuarant.
Day 4 Local Market / Coffee Kong Djie / Traditional house (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. After check out, visit to local market for some last min shopping of local products or crackers. Nasi Padang lunch at Dapor sakato , followed by visit to the local traditional house. Before going off to the airport, a stop by the local Kong Djie coffee for coffee at own expense. Departure transfer to airport
